LADONNA BONUS: A Swing and a Miss

Show Notes

"Javier, aren't you worried that LaDonna might target you next?" That's the question I get asked most frequently. The answer is too late.

Even before this series dropped, LaDonna began sending me spoof emails. I've received various messages, including some from fake accounts, and even attempts to hack into my podcast platform. Additionally, LaDonna tried other creative ways to obstruct my investigation and stop the legitimate reporting of her abusive behavior toward others.

Fun, fun.

Speaker: So one of the questions I keep getting asked over and over again is, Javier, aren't you scared that you might become a victim of LaDonna Humphrey? And I'm not gonna lie, I don't love being in her crosshairs, but hey, somebody's gotta do it, right? So while I am very cautious about what I'm doing, and I know that I'm going to have to deal with LaDonna Humphrey for a very long time. And yes, I have been a victim of her harassment. And it started the day before I even dropped the trailer for the show. So who else would have done it, right? It was an email titled, Missy Witt Case. And it was from Nixon O'Neill. Nixon O'Neill, by the way, is the alias for Daniel Watson's roommate who supposedly told LaDonna that her roommate, Daniel Watson was, uh, was Melissa's killer. The email says, Javier, I appreciate your coverage of the Missy Witt case. I grew up in the area and you seem to be an expert on the case. Do you have time to compare notes? In my 45 years of living in Arkansas and being familiar with this 30 year old case, you must be a genius. Regards. Nixon. But surprisingly, I haven't received a whole lot of spoof emails. But I did get one on July 13th. The subject was, I think you're really onto something. And the email is from TippingMyHatToYa at TootaMail. com. It also copied the We Are Not Afraid podcast, which is the reaction podcast to this series. I am so impressed with your work, Javier. I've been saying for years that there is something fishy going on in northwest Arkansas. When I searched this link of charitable registrations in Arkansas, I discovered something so fascinating. Here's a link, and she links to the Arkansas Secretary of State website, and she starts listing off all these organizations that are out of compliance, and She ends by saying even the Benton County Sheriff's Office Police Athletic League and so many others Javier you may have uncovered the biggest story of your life. What if they are trafficking women and children, holy shit You have stumbled on to some national story. I applaud you Javier. You are the man I've copied podcast so he can explain these dirty deeds Way to go, Javier. Your work is so amazing, so earth shattering. I bow down to you, oh great master. I can't wait for you to uncover this massive conspiracy that I am sure LaDonna is responsible for it all. Get her, Javier. Get her. Well, that email can't be traced because she used one of those untraceable email clients. But you see, she could keep sending me emails. I'm not going to read all of them to you, but it's really just a big waste of her time. So what else has she done? Let me think. She's definitely created an account on the subreddit, which is really funny because she's trying to make it sound like it's not her, but everybody totally knows it's her. So this one just happened recently, actually, I think just yesterday, and this has never happened in the whole history of the pretend podcast. Somebody tried to log in multiple times to my hosting provider, the platform that hosts the podcast. So maybe she was looking at some dark web you. Passwords that have been leaked out in the dark web and she was trying to break into my podcast to take it down Or maybe she was just trying to use some intimidating tactics. I actually think it's the latter Alicia told me that ladonna would do this all the time There's a screenshot where LaDonna says, So I took this fetisher's email address and I hit forgot password on every single one of them. So they got all these emails today alerting them that someone was trying to reset their password. So apparently this is something that she does for fun. But this next part was probably the most impressive of all. In fact, tip of the hat to ya, LaDonna. That was very clever. LaDonna actually trademarked LaDonna Humphrey her name, and who's afraid of LaDonna Humphrey? So one day I get an email from Apple saying that they're going to take down my podcast in five days unless I settle it directly with LaDonna. So somehow I have to convince LaDonna to take down her complaint. So I applied for the same trademark of Who's Afraid of LaDonna Humphrey because I had the trademark rights before she did because I published it. And now I went through the process of applying for. An in use trademark application. So yeah, if approved, I'm going to be the owner of who's afraid of LaDonna Humphrey. She thinks she's being clever, but what she doesn't know is that she's committing trademark fraud. You see, my attorney sent an email to Apple in response to her complaint and Apple immediately dismissed her claim. Apple has already vetted this complaint and has decided not to take my podcast down. What she's doing is she's abusing the trademark system to stop the legitimate reporting of her abuse behavior towards others. And plus, she has no intent to use the name Who's Afraid of LaDonna Humphrey, therefore it is fraud. She's even gone after Patreon. She's tried to take Patreon down, plus a list of other platforms that host my podcast. Oh, did I mention the two C Synthesis letters that I got? She was threatening to sue me. My attorney, uh, sent her a letter and, uh, haven't heard from her since. I would love to go to court with her so that she could prove to the world that the evidence that I'm providing is not true. Oh, and the discovery? Wow, that's gonna be awesome. LaDonna, the best course of action here is not to attack the people who are criticizing you, but to really take ownership and apologize. Not to me. Don't apologize to me. I'm just the messenger. But apologize to all of your victims and take ownership of that. I actually think that people would respect that. I really do. It's not too late. In fact, that could make all this go away. If you apologize and what the heck do I need to keep talking about this for? Do the right thing. It's not too late. And yes, this is what I'm dealing with in case you were wondering. While I might not personally be afraid of LaDonna Humphrey, the people who say that they are victims of her are really afraid. And I don't know if that's coming through in the podcast or not. These people live in a constant state of fear. A fear of the unknown. A fear of what her next move might be. And it might not be so bad, but just that fear alone is enough to drive someone mad. That's why it's so important to hold her accountable for this. Alright, well, I'll get off my soapbox. You guys asked, I just had to tell you all the fun that I've been having. And thank you to my subscribers for supporting my legal bills. I appreciate every single one of you. Alright, peace out.
